Town of Riga Salt Storage
The Town of Riga Salt Storage Facility was constructed in 2006 and consists of a 80’ x 104’ high arch gambrel style wood structure with a 25’ wide lean-to for storage of equipment.
The Town of Riga financed the entire project with money generated from the Town General Fund. The salt storage building is located on the Town Highway Department property and is located adjacent to a recreational complex.
The Town Highway Department completed the site work, final restoration and paving of the salt storage building interior and apron.
Chatfield Engineers, P.C. provided the Design and Construction Phase Engineering Services including Resident Project representation during construction. This project was constructed by Park Lane Construction and was completed within a sixty day period.
