Village of Brockport Harvester Park and Community Center

Chatfield Engineers, P.C. provided the Design and Construction Phase Services for the Village of Brockport Harvester Park and Community Center Project.  

The project was completed in conjunction with NH Architecture, P.C. and included the following:

• Stamped and Colored Concrete Walkways
• Picnic Tables, Benches, Trash Receptacles, Grills and Bike Racks
• Retaining Walls
•  Electric and Water Boat Service Stations
• Parking Lot and Drainage Improvements
• Lighting and Landscaping
• Stairways and handicap access ramps

Harvester Park has become an important asset for the community by blending modern conveniences and amenities with the natural and historic beauty of the canal.

The park has :

• Become a gateway and focal point for the community
• Enhanced the Downtowtown image
• Reinforced the village's historic and agricultural character
• Created economic opportunities
• Attracted people to the area and helped to advertise community resources
• Renewed interest in the canal as an economic and recreation resource and enhanced public access and use
