Town of Gaines Highway Building
The pre-existing Town of Gaines Highway Department Building collapsed under four feet of heavy wet snow and ice in January 1999.
Chatfield Engineers, P.C. was immediately contacted to provide:
- An Evaluation of the Collapsed Structure
- Cost Estimates for Replacement
- Recommendations to the Town Board
After careful consideration of alternative building styles, the Town Board chose a pre-engineered steel 60’ x 150’ building.
Chatfield Engineers, P.C. assisted with:
- Selection of an Architect
- Preparation of the Site Plan
- Design Coordination and Construction Administration
The project was completed in 2001 for a Total Capital Cost of $525,000.
